Abstract
⺠A second order nonlocal traffic flow model with nonlocal relaxation was derived. ⺠Nonlocal hydrodynamic model was derived accordingly. ⺠The phase transition with F â S, and S â J was reproduced. ⺠The catch effect of synchronized flow was also revealed.
