Abstract
⺠We quantitatively test the new diluted stretch tube polydisperse MLD model with experimental data in transient stretching flows. ⺠We show that the new diluted stretch tube formalism is essential to have quantitative agreement with data. ⺠We analyze the principal stretching flows and quantitatively rationalize the relative order in strength of stretching for these flows.
