Abstract
⺠We analyse polymer degradation of dilute solutions of PEO and PAM. ⺠We use a cylindrical double gap rheometer device. ⺠We analyse the effects of many parameters on drag reduction as a function of time. ⺠We focus are analysis on the very beginning of the problem. ⺠We propose an equation which can be used to fit the relative drag reduction data.
