Abstract
⺠A finite volume method is used to simulate electro-osmotic flows of viscoelastic fluids. ⺠The UCM and the Phan-Thien/Tanner models are used. ⺠Different physical models for electric charge density distribution are assumed. ⺠Electro-elastic flow instabilities are predicted in a cross-slot flow. ⺠An analytical solution for fully developed electro-osmosis channel flow is presented.
