Abstract
⺠We studied the dispersive character of bubbly flows rising in Boger-type fluids. ⺠Single bubbles experienced a velocity jump without negative wake. ⺠Strong bubble clustering was observed with small bubble sizes. ⺠The dispersion improved as the bubble size was increased. ⺠The behavior was related with normal stress accumulation and interface properties.
