Abstract
► We studied the dispersive character of bubbly flows rising in Boger-type fluids. ► Single bubbles experienced a velocity jump without negative wake. ► Strong bubble clustering was observed with small bubble sizes. ► The dispersion improved as the bubble size was increased. ► The behavior was related with normal stress accumulation and interface properties.
