Abstract
⺠The stability of 1-dimensional fiber spinning with filament pull-out is modeled. ⺠We determine the considered limiting stability regions for filament pull-out. ⺠A mixed boundary condition increases the stability of a viscoelastic filament. ⺠The pull-out position varies according to the slope S of the upstream normal stress. ⺠For higher De values there is a range of S values that stabilizes the filament.
