Abstract
► Analytical solution for Bingham fluids in Couette-Poiseuille flow are presented. ► New simplified flow equations for Couette-Poiseuille flow are developed. ► The new equations are explicit in the pressure gradient. ► The new equations are designed for use in dynamic models and contr ol theory. ► The accuracy of the new equations is shown to be satisfactory.
