Abstract
⺠We investigated the role of viscoelasticity on the gravure printing process. ⺠We show elasticity can have a large impact of amount of fluid removed from a gravure cell. ⺠We show gravity and inertia can play a large role on fluid removal. ⺠We show that the aspect ratio of the gravure cell can impact fluid removal during printing.
