Abstract
⺠We model the horizontal flow in thin liquid crystal cavity. ⺠We examine the coupling of the surface effects and the heat flux. ⺠The Jole's heating causes the horizontal displacement of liquid crystal compatible to the cavity size. ⺠The velocity profiles are defined by the treatment of the cavity boundary. ⺠The results are found for cylinder geometry of liquid crystal cavity.
