Abstract
⺠For the first time start-up Poiseuille flow of the FENE model is simulated using the CONNFFESSIT. ⺠Transient rheological behavior of the FENE and FENE-P models is compared. ⺠Effects of structural and processing parameters on material functions are studied. ⺠In pipe geometry it is possible to obtain the material functions over a shear rate range in a single run.
