Abstract
- Pure MgAl2O4 powder was synthesized via the glycine-starch-nitrates auto-ignition.
- The presence of starch in the fuel facilitated the preparation of pure nanoparticles.
- The relationship between the starch content and surface area was investigated.
- The optimum potato starch content for achieving pure nanoparticles (<13Â nm) was 40Â wt%.
