Abstract
- An ammonia-hydrothermal method was used to prepare hexagonal Mg(OH)2 nanoplates.
- Mg(OH)2 particles with good dispersivity and uniform size distribution were prepared.
- Optimum operating conditions were determined for preparing nano-sized Mg(OH)2.
- Mg(OH)2 crystal growth and size were controlled by MEA concentration.
