Abstract
- A hydrothermal approach was used to generate hollow silver nanoparticles (hAgNPs).
- Ag+-dodecylamine (DDA) coordination compounds in water/ethanol mixture were prepared first.
- hAgNPs were formed after reducing Ag+-DDA coordination compounds at 150 °C for 8 h.
- This synthetic pathway does not rely on any additives.
