Abstract
Screeds are construction materials used to correct surface defects and to bevel floors. It is intended to prevent a variety of problems in conventional cementitious screed with a new screed system such as self-leveling, minimized cracking risk, pumpable, self-leveling, curing speedily, that can be applied quickly, which can reduce the dead load due to the property to make thin coatings. In this study, it was produced self-leveling screeds with three types of aggregate and new generation superplasticizer. Slump flow, compressive strength, unit weight, ultrasonic pulse velocity, capillarity, water absorption and shear strength tests were conducted. It was observed that, when aggregate was getting finer, T500 time was decreased and flowability was increased. At the end of the study; the use of 0-1 mm river sand and 1% plasticizer in the production of the self-leveling screed (SLS) gave more positive results.
