Abstract
► Distribution features of holdups in a bubble column embedded with sieve plates were studied. ► Gas holdup and its radial distribution were measured with electrical resistance tomography (ERT). ► Effects of plate geometric parameters and gas velocity on gas holdup distribution were investigated.
