Abstract
⺠ZnO/CdS nanocomposites were synthesized by a chemical method using a water-ethanol matrix. ⺠Characterization results showed that CdS nanoparticles with a mean size of 4 nm were grown on ZnO nanowires. ⺠Luminescence measurements of ZnO/CdS nanocomposites showed narrow and enhanced blue emission.
