Abstract
⺠An interface layer is proposed to simulate the adhesion loss of mortar. ⺠The adopted interface behaves according to a constitutive cohesive zone model. ⺠Three independent parameters reproduce the energy loss due to the lack of adhesion. ⺠The numerical model allows the introduction of factors that affect adherence. ⺠The applications lead to coherent results and confirm the parametric analysis.
