Abstract
► The experimental and analytical flexural behavior of PCRC beams is deeply analyzed. ► The Partial Confinement provided by Prefabricated Cage enhances the flexural response. ► The confinement offered by prefabricated cage prolonged the initiation of cracks. ► This beam system exhibits an improved ductility and energy absorption capacity. ► The beams are capable of withstanding impact forces due to higher ductile response.
