Abstract
⺠The experimental and analytical flexural behavior of PCRC beams is deeply analyzed. ⺠The Partial Confinement provided by Prefabricated Cage enhances the flexural response. ⺠The confinement offered by prefabricated cage prolonged the initiation of cracks. ⺠This beam system exhibits an improved ductility and energy absorption capacity. ⺠The beams are capable of withstanding impact forces due to higher ductile response.
