Abstract
► Two modification methods were used to foster photocatalysis on asphalt mixtures. ► The TiO2 nanoparticles solution' pH influences the bitumen physical integrity. ► The photocatalytic properties were studied after UV irradiation. ► The use of spraying technique leads to superior photocatalytic activity. ► Spraying method does not affect bituminous structure and reduce implementation costs.
