Abstract
⺠Studied bond strength of rebar lap splice in RC beams subjected to thermal cycles. ⺠Thermal cycles of 100, 200 and 300 °C peak temperature were varied from 7 to 28. ⺠Bond strength at 100 and 200 °C cycles is either at par with control or even more. ⺠At higher temperature (300 °C) bond strength reduces by up to 44%. ⺠Large rebar diameter (12 mm) exhibits more loss of bond due to splitting of cover.
