Abstract
⺠Reinforced concrete beams with tensile or compression stress were corroded. ⺠Comparison between the advance of corrosion cracking on both cases was done. ⺠Gravimetric losses on both cases were compared. ⺠Greater cracking on cover concrete does not indicate greater loss on bars section.
