Abstract
The experimental results of the measurement of roof integrated panels have verified the new simplified thermal model of PV panel developed at Czech Technical University (CTU). The model has been used for further analysis of PV panel performance in different climates. While roof integration of PV panel in cold, moderate and warm climate (Stockholm, Prague, Athens) brings only reduction of energy production by several percents, it could lead to exposition to very high temperatures in hot climate (Riyadh) and cause an accelerated degradation of PV panels.
