Towards a computer program for building-integrated wind technologies

The efficient integration of wind technology into a building can contribute to achieving its energy sufficiency. This integration - which called building integrated wind technology - requires a tool that helps the architects to determine site suitability where exploiting wind technologies and suitable integration methods. Therefore, this paper introduces and elaborates a suggested computer program (WT Efficient-Integration Program) towards the efficient integration of wind technologies into new buildings. Moreover, it evaluates the verification and validation of the program by comparing the current status of wind technologies integration into a building with the suggested status by the program when applied. After that, the program is applied on a proposed project in order to examine the program potentials for applying the integration of wind technology into new building.
