Abstract
- We propose an optimal design method for the HVAC system in apartment house using a genetic algorithm.
- By a modified genetic algorithm called multi-island genetic algorithm, the optimal running pattern of HVAC systems is decided to minimize the energy consumption.
- The proposed method is significantly capable of determining optimal system design for saving energy in apartment house.
