Abstract
- This paper investigated the energy impact of DSF design regarding window glazing type and cavity depth.
- Parametric and optimization studies were conducted based on a validated DSF model.
- Energy consumption decreased when the cavity depth of the DSF decreased.
- Results show the significance of the initial DSF design on the thermal load of the adjacent conditioned zones.
