Abstract

- Thermal simulation validation study using a free running weather exposed test cell.
- EnergyPlus is used to predict natural airflow, air, radiant and surface temperatures.
- The results show good agreement between simulation and experiment.
- Average simulation error in air and radiant temperature of 1.4 °C.
- Average simulation daily maximum error of 2.5 °C.
