Abstract
⺠We presented a cool roof application on a 700 m2 roof in Trapani, Sicily. ⺠The monitoring results demonstrated a roof surface temperature decrease of up to 20 °C. ⺠The indoor monitoring also demonstrated CR mitigated indoor thermal conditions. ⺠We demonstrated the effectiveness of CR in reducing cooling and total net energy demand. ⺠CR resulted as the most efficient among the different cooling technologies considered.
