Abstract
- The energy analysis of a-Si semi-transparent PV module integrated on Trombe wall façade is evaluated.
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been applied to predict the temperature and velocity distribution in the test room model.
- The experimental results show that 10% of solar radiation transmittance has been supplied by using a semi-transparent a-Si solar cell.
- The experimental daily average electrical and thermal efficiency of this system can reach 4.52% and 27.2% respectively.
- As the surface temperature of the PV module decreases, the electrical efficiency increases.
