Abstract
▸ Science museums consume more energy (19.8 kWh) per visit than art/history museums. ▸ Science museums consume more water (53.5 L) per visit than art/history museums. ▸ A visit to a museum has an emission of 2.34 kg of CO2 equivalent. ▸ Energy and water consumption in museums show a significative correlation (R = 0.648). ▸ Their relationship has been modelled through a power function (R2 = 0.754).
