Abstract
⺠We investigated indoor environmental quality and user satisfactions in 20 office buildings of the U.S. ⺠Women reported lower thermal satisfaction than men during the cooling season. ⺠Occupants reported higher thermal satisfaction in lower horizontal radiant temperature asymmetry than 4 °C. ⺠Occupants' visual satisfaction rates varied in a same lighting level depending on their task types. ⺠Lower CO2 concentrations were measured at an air velocity of 0.06 m/s or higher.
