Abstract
▸ Separate freezing and melting curves allows cyclic and hysteresis simulation. ▸ During validation, the UDF model produced an RMS error of 0.9%. ▸ During validation, the default CFD model produced an RMS error of 9.3%. ▸ For a cyclic simulation, the UDF and default models differ by 4-5 K peak values. ▸ Wall thermal dynamics are greatly affected by the choice of model.
