Abstract

A new set of vapor pressure data for the aqueous solutions of ethaline, glyceline, maline, and reline at different temperatures (30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 °C) and concentrations (20, 40, 60, and 80 wt%) are presented. The data successfully fit the classic Antoine equation, for the temperature-dependence of the vapor pressure, and a Volger–Tamman–Fulcher-type equation, for the concentration-dependence of the vapor pressure. The % AADs for the experimental and calculated data were all less than 0.5%.

► Vapor pressures of aqueous choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvents were measured at 30–70 °C. ► Choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvents were ethaline, glyceline, maline and reline. ► The measured data were reported as functions of temperature and compositio. ► The measured data were represented satisfactorily by the applied correlations.
