Abstract
⺠A reheating method was developed to study precipitation processes on cooling. ⺠A chip based differential fast scanning calorimeter was employed. ⺠Critical cooling rates of high alloyed aluminum samples can be determined. ⺠300 K/s is the critical cooling rate to prevent precipitation for the 7049A alloy.
