Abstract
► Butyl-glycidylether-modified poly(propylene imine) dendrimers are successfully prepared. ► They, as novel hardeners, have high reactivity and can well cure epoxy resin nonisothermally. ► The Å esták-Berggren model can generally well simulate the epoxy reaction rates. ► The model-free isoconversional kinetic analysis are performed with the Vyazovkin method. ► Influences of the hardeners on curing behaviors and thermal properties of the epoxy are revealed.
