Abstract
⺠The presence of two electronegative elements viz. nitrogen and oxygen in its molecular architecture, ethanolamine has greater extent of interaction with PEG. ⺠Ethanolamine and m-cresol may be involved in a complex type of network of hydrogen bonding. ⺠Ethanolamine has greater extent of interaction with PEG than m-cresol and aniline particularly with least magnitude from aniline, where electron availability is least because of delocalization. ⺠The difference in molar volume between the components of the mixture control the mixture properties.
