Abstract
▶ PBXN-9 is more sensitive to elevated temperatures than similar HMX-formulations. ▶ Plasticizer volatility affects morphology and structure parts after mild heating. ▶ Binder and plasticizer do not affect the HMX decomposition kinetics. ▶ Parts heated above the HMX β-δ transition undergo significant changes in morphology.
