Abstract
⺠A modelling technique to predict EM loads in ITER conducting structures is presented. ⺠The technique provides low computational cost and parallel computations. ⺠Detailed models were built for the system “vacuum vessel, cryostat, thermal shields”. ⺠EM loads on massive in-vessel structures were simulated with the use of local models. ⺠A flexible combination of models enables desired accuracy of load distributions.
