Abstract
The structure is a bridge of 'concrete sails' with a main span of 220Â m. The total length of the bridge is 470Â m, with five spans of 30Â +Â 40Â +Â 90Â +Â 220Â +Â 90Â m. The structure was projected without piers in the riverbed as foundations were not feasible due to the liquefaction risks of the ground under the seismic action, which in this zone is very high.
