Abstract
Wind effects determine serviceability, ultimate as well as operational states in certain bridge structures such as the present. A high resolution wind clima model is often necessary in the assessment of these states. Design wind speeds probabilistic models and construction control can be both optimized by means of these models. Required model calibration and control requires specific wind monitoring at a sufficiently high spatial and time resolution. This article presents the system that was implemented for the Constitución de 1812 Bridge over the Cádiz Bay.
