Abstract
► Wind speed data has been gathered from over 500 mast pairs. ► Empirical equations for wind flow modelling uncertainty have been developed. ► A systematic method is used to apply these equations to wind farm energy uncertainty. ► The method is easy to implement in real wind farm energy yields. ► The method is applicable to common industry models such as WAsP and MS3DJH.
