Abstract
- The modelling of QUENCH-10 was performed in order to validate new oxidation model in RELAP/SCDAPSIM code.
- The PSI developed oxidation model reasonably reflects the experimental data of QUENCH-10 test.
- Modelling of a LOCA in a BWR spent fuel pool was performed using RELAP5 and RELAP/SCDAPSIM/MOD3.5 codes.
- Zr oxidation model developed by PSI allows to simulate the fuel assemblies degradation in spent fuel pool more realistic.
