Abstract
⺠Quasi direct numerical simulations (q-DNS) of a pebble bed configuration has been performed. ⺠This q-DNS database may serve as a reference for the validation of different turbulence modeling approaches. ⺠A wide range of qualitative and quantitative data throughout the computational domain has been generated. ⺠Results for mean, RMS and covariance of velocity field are extensively reported in this paper.
