Abstract
⺠Analyzed the in vitro propagation and genetic clonality in plus tree of Pongamia. ⺠Compared the response of epicotyl and nodal explants on MS and WP media. ⺠WP is more effective than MS media for obtaining a large number of plantlets. ⺠RAPD and ISSR are effective for genetic stability in micropropagated Pongamia. ⺠The study paves future research with regard to breeding aspect in biodiesel crop.
