Abstract
⺠Improvements in energy crop cultivation reduce environmental impacts. ⺠Breeding of high-yield varieties is effective for reducing environmental impacts. ⺠Introduction of simplified operations and disease resistance are also effective. ⺠Reducing nitrogen use through adequate fertilising and crop residue input is needed. ⺠The results are different by categories, and a comprehensive assessment is important.
