Abstract
⺠Human and plant relationships are described through environmental ethics. ⺠The issues of functionalism, and interconnectivity are raised. ⺠This article re-examines the position of plants in the context of urban spaces. ⺠Social scientists fail to note objectification of plants. ⺠Bioethics need to be considered.
