Abstract
⺠Thermal degradation of wood polymers increased with torrefaction temperature. ⺠Utilization of torrefied wood increased the friction in the press channel of a pellet mill. ⺠Pellets compression stability decreased with increasing torrefaction temperature. ⺠Inter-particle bonding in pellets made from torrefied wood was reduced compared to wood pellets.
