Abstract
⺠Methods for propagation are an important demand for cultivation of Jatropha curcas. ⺠Length, basal area, and position on the branch were found to influence the survival rate and growth of plants. ⺠Only plants originated from seeds directly in the soil produce a deep root system. ⺠Plants originated from stem cuttings have a superficial root system.
