Abstract
⺠Strengthening of aluminium tubular structural members using CFRP. ⺠48 web crippling tests under four loading conditions were tested. ⺠Web slenderness effect of aluminium tubular sections on CFRP strengthening was investigated. ⺠Strengthening is more pronounced for sections with large value of web slenderness. ⺠The web crippling strengths significantly increased due to CFRP strengthening.
