Abstract
⺠We study the fatigue behaviour of steel beams repaired with CFRP plate or CFRP sheets. ⺠One layer of CFRP plate can extend the fatigue life of steel beams about 7 times. ⺠Four layers of CFRP woven sheets can extend the fatigue life of beams about 3 times. ⺠CFRP plates show better performance in resisting crack propagation than CFRP sheets.
