Abstract
The sonographer is a mediator/translator. In this position, he can promote the structuring potential of this examination but, equally, stigmatize the disorganizing valence. In this context, professionals will benefit from a Balint-type group. The formalization of the negotiation between caregivers and parents of a mutually informed consent of this examination and its consequences occupies a crucial place in its ethical and clinical legitimacy. A group of parents led by sonographers will provide a space for reflexivity on antenatal diagnosis.
